Managers have the ability to create and review private notes for the people they manage.
Private notes are never seen by the reviewee or anyone else (even moderators) and are used as a notepad to remind you of thoughts and ideas you've had throughout the year that you'd like to consider when it comes to review time.
Private notes can be entered at any time. At review, they're gathered up onto the review report for you to check through.
You can enter private notes on the review report, or on the Your Team page.
You might add private notes at various points:
- If you get some anecdotal feedback about someone you manage from a colleague, client or customer.
- To record your thoughts after your monthly 1-to-1 meetings.
- To record examples of good or poor performance on a regular basis.
NOTE: These private notes may be released if a user makes a GDPR request.
