To stay engaged with your team whilst working remotely, you could implement weekly working from home check-ins. These check-ins encourage employees to highlight any personal or practical concerns they may have, discuss their current work and share the positive contributions of their colleagues.
By adding working from home check-ins to your account, you will enable check-ins for your entire account.
Check-ins are regular conversations between managers and employees and can cover current work, progress on objectives, feedback on performance and general well-being. These are designed to be quick and less formal than a standard review.
Check-ins can be started by managers or their employees at any time by using the start a check-in button and are based on a 2-stage workflow. The 2-stage workflow allows employees and managers to complete their responses simultaneously, after which the manager closes off the check-in.
In addition to the Working from home check-in, you can set up additional check-in forms from the Form Design area. Once you have created your form, you can mark it as a check-in form by selecting make this a quick review form.
The working from home template has four sections.
- An introductory section that can be customised to include any important information or existing help services or benefits at your organisation.
- A wellbeing section that encourages employees to share how they are feeling.
- A section that allows employees to share what they have been working on and what they would like to work on next. Employees can also discuss practical working arrangements such as the number of calls they have with their team and suggest any changes.
- The feedback section lets employees nominate any colleagues who have been particularly helpful and this is a good way of tracking positive contributions from team members. It also allows employees to suggest any further adjustments to HR departments.
Please note: If you have review groups enabled in your account, you will need to ensure that you have marked the working from home check-in as a form that can be used at any time for all review groups.
