There are four distinct administration permission roles in Appraisd - Configurator, Administrator, Moderator, Form Designer - that can be assigned to users as needed.
What is a Configurator?
As a configurator you'll have access to the configuration area of Appraisd where you can adjust the settings for your Appraisd account. Typically, this role is the most restricted role and only given to users who are responsible for the Appraisd system. Normally a configurator would also have all the other administration permission roles too.
A configurator can:
- Access the Configuration area and all account settings
- View, add, change and remove the administration permission roles given to other users
What is an Administrator?
As an administrator, you will have access to the Administration centre. Typically this role is given to a member of HR who is responsible for keeping the Appraisd data up to date or review reporting.
An administrator can:
- Access the Administration Centre
- Add, update and deactivate users
- Set up and edit reviews
- Run metrics reports
What is a Moderator?
A moderator will have access to all the profiles and data that they have moderator privileges over. This would be someone who needs to review and analyse confidential data such as responses in reviews and feedback received.
A moderator can:
- Search and go to anyone's profile
- See all personal data including review responses, feedback and objectives
- If enabled, 'view as' as someone to provide support or complete tasks on behalf of another person
- Run insight driven reports including review responses, feedback and objectives (if also an admin)
- Edit objectives in bulk (if also an admin)
What is a Form Designer?
A form designer has access to the Form design area of the administration centre. Typically, they are a subset of your administrators who are responsible for managing the review forms used in your account.
A form designer can:
- Access the Form design section of the administration centre
- Add, edit and remove review forms for your account
