What is this feature?
Administrators can save any list of data as a report in Appraisd which is then published on the Reports tab of the administration centre, from which you can quickly access useful related metrics reports of the data.
Other admins can see the list of saved reports and use them, plus the linked metrics reports, filtered to show only the data they have access to based on their administration permissions.
You can also make use of the related report quick links to easily see metrics related to any of your saved reports:
How to save a report
In all of the list reports in the admin centre (People, Reviews, Scores and comments, Objectives) you'll now see a 'Save report...' button. Once you have applied a filter that shows the information you'd like to save as a report click on the 'Save report...' button
Give the report a Title and we recommend providing a Description to help other administrators know what the report shows and the purpose of it. Press on 'Save as new' to save the report
Saving a report saves the following:
- Any filters applied
- Which columns are showing
- The column order
- Any sorting applied to the table
Once saved, the report will show in the relevant section of the Saved reports page in the admin centre
Managing your saved reports
If you would like to adjust a saved report that you have created you can do so by opening the report, making the changes and then press on 'Save report...' button. You can then press save to save your changes.
Note that only the person who created the original report can save changes to it. If you are not the owner of the report, you will only be able to save your changes as a new report.
Over time you may find that your older reports are not being used as frequently and you'd like to move them from the active reports page but keep them for reference in the future in case they're needed again. To do this you can archive off any reports by clicking on the three-dot menu on the report and select archive.
Once a report is archived you can find the report in the Archived section of the saved reports page
If needed, you can un-archive a report from this page using the three-dot menu.
