We have been working on developing a new feature - public recognition - and it’s now ready for you (bearing in mind, it’s still in beta and is subject to change based on the feedback we receive).
How do you enable Recognition on your account?
One of the Appraisd team will need to do this for you, so please get in touch if you're keen and we'll work with you on customising the feature. You can customise the terminology you'd like to use and decide on any embedded guidance on using the feature.
Once configured, your employees will be able to give recognition/shout-outs to their colleagues anytime. See our page on giving a colleague recognition for more details on how to do this. Employees who receive recognition will be notified the next day as part of the daily roundup.
Everyone will have a recognition/shout-out wall that will show all the recognition given within your organisation in one place. See our page on viewing the recognition you or a team member has received for more details on how to do this.
What can I customise?
On the dashboard, you can customise the name of the 'wall', plus choose an icon and the wording on the 'recognise a colleague' action button.
Then on the pop-up, everything flagged below in blue is customisable, along with the colour of the top bar. You can add more than three types and there is the option to also give them descriptions. The right-hand panel is free space for you to add specific guidance and/or videos.
We have a selection of icons available for you to use if you don't have your own.
You can choose who is allowed to give each type of recognition: everyone, moderators, admins, or specific named users only.
You can limit employees to only giving recognition to one person at a time rather than allowing them to select multiple.
You can customise everything mentioned above for each language on your account (if you have more than one).
